How I use it
Honestly, the 40% rule describes my last ten years. Applying for hundreds of jobs to get a visa. Getting through one challenge after another. Trying to stand out through layoffs and a pandemic. Instead of letting it get me down, I studied hard and made myself an expert in data and cloud engineering, so I stayed relevant.
Running is the same for me. You don’t need to go to Goggins’s extremes, but I’ve had my own moments on a run where I had to decide to carry on.
