Chapters
My career so far, oldest first.
AB InBev
(2010–2017)
I started as a data analyst at AB InBev in the Dominican Republic and left as commercial planning and performance manager, leading a team of 16 across BI, revenue management, pricing and forecasting.
London
(2017–2024)
In the summer of 2017 I moved from the Dominican Republic to London for an MSc in Data Science at Goldsmiths, University of London. Then:
- ForceDecks (later part of VALD Performance): sports science, as a data scientist.
- Reed.co.uk: I ran customer data products for 2,000+ customers on an £8M+ sales budget.
- Babylon: I raised pipeline efficiency from 35% to 90% in three months and supported a ~70% cut in pipeline cost.
- eMed: data and analytics.
Ocado
(2024–2025)
I led data analytics for Ocado Technology’s operations.
- Reorganised a 13-person analytics department into three squads.
- Cleared 80% of the data request backlog.
- Halved data incidents.
- Cut response time from three weeks to three days.
- Led the design of LLM bots for triage and forecasting.
AISYNG
(2025–2026)
I co-founded an AI start-up for operations teams and exhibited with it in the ALPHA programme at Web Summit Lisbon 2025. I left in 2026 to build Hailo-Ops. What I took from it: the hard part of an AI product is not the model, it’s the operating problem it sits in, which is why Hailo-Ops starts with the operation, not the tool.
Hailo-Ops
(2026–present)
I co-founded Hailo-Ops, an operations consultancy for UK businesses.
