Privacy
This site counts page views so I can see what people read. It sets no cookies and collects nothing that identifies you.
What’s counted
Each page view records the page’s address, the site that linked you here, and your browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and country. Anything after a “?” or “#” in the address is left out. At the bottom of each page, it also counts which answer you pick under “What brings you here?”.
Your IP address is used to work out your country and isn’t stored. Nothing is combined with data from other sites.
Who handles it
I’m responsible for the data this site collects: Pedro Lopez, in London. You can reach me at iampedrolopezf@gmail.com.
Umami counts the page views for me on its cloud service. It works without cookies and doesn’t track you across sites. See Umami’s privacy policy.
Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host, it receives your IP address and browser details when it delivers a page, and handles them under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. No Cloudflare analytics or other Cloudflare scripts run on these pages.
Email you send to iampedrolopezf@gmail.com reaches me through Gmail.
If you book a call with me, you do it on Calendly, which handles the booking under Calendly’s privacy policy.
Switch analytics off
Analytics is on for this browser.
The switch works for this browser only. It saves a setting called umami.disabled in your browser’s local storage, which tells the analytics script to send nothing, page views and answers alike. Clearing this site’s data turns analytics back on.
If your browser sends Do Not Track, nothing is counted either way.
Kept in your browser
Two settings can be saved in your browser’s local storage, and neither leaves your device: your light or dark mode choice (theme), and the analytics switch above.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete it, by emailingiampedrolopezf@gmail.com. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
