How I use it

A total jewel, and I read it in two nights. Fuqua taught himself almost everything by post, with lectures and books arriving in the mail, and became a hugely successful entrepreneur largely by reading.

I lived a version of that. Growing up in the Dominican Republic, books opened my mind to ideas, mental models and worlds I had no other way to reach. Books are a big part of why I had the nerve to study abroad and build a career in tech.

The way he found opportunities and acquired businesses fascinates me. He’s one of the people I’d love to spend a weekend with, just talking.
